The Fund for Innovation and Technological Development, together with the Center for Development of the East Planning Region and Regional Chamber of Commerce, organized an info session for the presentation of the Instrument for Co-Funded Grants for commercialization of the inovations.

The informative session was held on April 22, 2019 (Monday) starting at 11:00.

On March 22, 2019, the contract with the selected most favorable bidder Stoimenov LLC Kochani was signed in the premises of the Center for development of the East planning region for the realization of the project "Construction of a part of ul. "1" in the industrial zone "Chukata" in Pehcevo.

The third forum session titled "WE DEVELOP OUR REGION TOGETHER " was held on March 6, 2019 (Wednesday) in the hotel "Izgrev" in the municipality of Stip. The Center for Development of the East Planning Region, in cooperation with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and the Ministry of Local Self-Government, started with identification of project ideas within the project "Sustainable and Inclusive Balanced Regional Development 2018-2020", financed by the Ministry of Local Government Self Government and Government of the Swiss Confederation.

On March 18, 2019, a workshop on standards in tourism and categorization of objects was organized in the municipality of Delcevo, within the established Coordinative body for tourism development in the East planning region.

The first forum session titled "TOGETHER WE DEVELOP OUR REGION" was held on 20.02.2019 (Wednesday) in the hotel "Izgrev" in the municipality of Shtip. The Center for Development of the East Planning Region, in cooperation with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and the Ministry of Local Self-Government, begins with the identification of project ideas within the project "Sustainable and Inclusive Balanced Regional Development 2018-2020", financed by the Ministry of Local Government Self Government and Government of the Swiss Confederation.

The Center for Development of the East Planning Region, in cooperation with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and the Ministry of Local Self-Government, started with identification of project ideas within the project "Sustainable and Inclusive Balanced Regional Development 2018-2020", financed by the Ministry of Local Government Self Government and Government of the Swiss Confederation.

The Center for Development of the East Planning Region is continuing its activities through the Programme for Nature Conservation in Macedonia, a project of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, coordinated by Pharmahem.

The establishment of the ethno-eco park in the municipality of Cheshinovo-Oblesevo is one of the priorities in the Strategy for development of tourism in the East planning region and is recognized as a potential that is in accordance with the principles of the Programme for nature conservation in Macedonia - preserving the natural resources in Bregalnica region by promoting the principle of their sustainable management.

The Center for Development of the East Planning Region continues with the realization of activities supported by the Program for Conservation of Nature in Macedonia within the nomination of Geopark Lesnovo in the UNESCO Global Geoparks Network.

On January 23, 2019, in the premises of the Rectorate of the University "Goce Delchev" from Stip, an agreement was signed for research and preparation of the application for Lesnovo membership for the UNESCO Global Geoparks Network.

On the 26.12.2018 the Eighth Festive Session of the Council for Development of the East Planning Region was held in the municipality of Cheshinovo-Obleshevo.

At the session, the Financial Plan of the Center for Development of the East Planning Region for 2019 was adopted and the Annual Action Plan for 2019 for the implementation of the Programme for Development of the East Planning Region 2015-2019 was adopted.
