The realization of the "Establishment of an ethno-eco park in the municipality of Cheshinovo-Obleshevo" is a project funded through the Programme for Conservation of Nature in Macedonia - Phase 2.

On November 30, 2018, an action was carried out for planting poplars and willow seedlings near the coastal belt of the river Bregalnica, near the village of Penush in the municipality of Stip.

The planting was carried out with indigenous species of seedlings characteristic for the region, which contributes to the preservation of nature and biodiversity in the lower course of the river Bregalnica.

On the 23.11.2018 the Seventh Session of the Council for Development of the East Planning Region was held in the Municipality of Makedonska Kamenica.

The session was attended by the Minister of Local Self-Government Mr. Suheil Fazliu, the Director of the Bureau for Regional Development Mr. Ramiz Rexhepi, representatives from the University "Goce Delcev" in Stip and the Economic Chamber of Macedonia, as well as representatives of the Center for Public Health and Agency for Food and Veterinary.

On November 19, 2018 in the municipality of Makedonska Kamenica, a workshop for exchange of experiences for managing a tourist destination was organized within the established coordinative body for development of tourism in the East planning region.

The Fund for Innovation and Technological Development together with the Center for Development of the East Planning Region, the Regional Chamber of Commerce and the University "Goce Delchev" Stip, organized an info session on the Public Call for FUNDING of the PROJECT PROPOSALS through the Support Instrument - Co-financed grants for newly established companies " start-up "and" spin-off ". The informative session was held on November 13, 2018 (Tuesday), starting at 11:00 am, at Campus 2, in the ceremonial hall of the Faculty of Agriculture at the University "Goce Delcev" - Stip.

On November 7, 2018 in Veles was held a working meeting of the representatives from the Centers for Development of the East and Vardar Planning Region, the representatives from the University "Goce Delcev" from Stip and Krzysztof Malicky, technology transfer technologist at the University of Technology in Gdańsk, Poland.

The working meeting was aimed at coordinating the partners regarding the further steps in the process of establishing a Interregional Technology Park in the East and Vardar Planning Region.

The Center for Development of the East Planning Region continues with the realization of activities supported by the Programme for Nature Conservation in Macedonia. The Nature Conservation Programme in Macedonia is a project of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, which has been implemented in the East Planning Region for the 6th year.

On November 6, 2018 in the premises of the House of Culture "Zletovsky Miner" in Probistip was held a workshop for exchange of experiences for the nomination of Lesnovo in the UNESCO Global Geoparks Network.

On November 5, 2018, in the premises of the Center for Development of the East Planning Region, a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Center for Environmental Research and Information "Eko-Svest" from Skopje was signed for the project "Let's talk about climate change".
