In the period October 2016 - October 2018, the Center for Development of the East Planning Region implemented the project "Green Buildings for a Common Green Future - GREEN" CB006.1.11.038, funded by the First Interreg Call - IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Bulgaria - Macedonia 2014-2020.

The aim of the project was through joint efforts to contribute to raising public awareness in all spheres of the importance of climate change and improving the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. During the realization of the project through a series of different and attractive activities contributed to the acquisition of new knowledge for the successful utilization, conservation and management of natural resources and thus the improvement of the overall quality of life of the population in the cross-border region.

The Center for Development of the East Planning Region is completing the activities for successful realization of the project "Construction of Zrnovci Phase II Ethnic Park" funded by the 2019 Balanced Regional Development Program.

The Center for Development of the East Planning Region, together with the Ministry of Local Self-Government and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation in the framework of the project "Sustainable and Inclusive Balanced Regional Development" has launched the second phase of Regional Community Forums.

Center for Development of East Planning Region is launching a tender procedure for CONSERVATION AND RESTAURATION OF THE CHURCH "Sveti Vlasie", Archeological Site ISAR-Shtip, Republic of North Macedonia with Ref. № CBC006.2.21.107 / 02. Business Center for Support and Advisory Services for SMEs at the Center for East Planning Region in cooperation with the Ministry of Local Self-Government and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, on 28.01.2020 in Shtip, Hotel Izgrev, held a workshop within the project "Sustainable and inclusive balanced regional development". The theme of this workshop was "Implementation of an Innovative Project in the East Planning Region".

On January 17, 2020, a promotional press conference for the project "Cultural bridge through the centuries" was held.

The project "Cultural bridge through the centuries" is funded under the INTERREG-IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Program between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of N. Macedonia 2014-2020, in which the Lead Partner is the Georgi Todorov 1885 National Habitat from the Municipality of Belica, R. Bulgaria and the Center for Development of the East Planning Region, as second project partner.

The three-day trainings in Stip and Kocani started on January 13 to train the expert staff that will work in the sensor rooms. The trainings were held in the primary school Tosho Arsov in Stip and the primary school Malina Pop Ivanova in Kocani. The planned trainings in Delcevo will start on January 16 at the Day Center.

 On December 23, 2019 in the OUDDG Astibo Stip was held a solemn promotion of the Project: Healthy children - a secure future. The project is funded by the Swiss Embassy and the Ministry of Local Self Government, and implemented by the Center for Development of the East Planning Region in cooperation with the OLDG Astibo - Stip. The primary goal of the project is better integration of children with developmental disabilities from EPR into the education system and society.
