On the III (third) call for Cross-border cooperation Republic of Bulgaria and Republic of Macedonia, Centre for Development of East Planning Region as a leading partner and the municipality of Gotse Delchev, Breznitsa village as a partner, the Project "Networking of multimedia centres in cross-border region“ was started.
One of the key activities of this infrastructure project is the construction of a Regional Multimedia center in Stip, Macedonia and reconstruction and adaptation of the National Library in Breznitsa village, municipality of Gotse Delchev, Republic of Bulgaria.
Multimedia Centre in Stip should be built on the site of the old "Summer cinema" which now is an ugly picture of the city and is not in function for more than 20 years.
Stip Municipality contributes 50% of the necessary funds for the construction of this facility and has responsibility for clearing before the commencement of construction.
On June 5, 2014, Stip Municipality through PE "Isar" - Stip began clearing of the area and demolition of the old facility, which will create conditions for the start of construction of new representative multimedia center.
