On July 8, 2014, the premises of the Society for Ecological consalting DEKONS-EMA from Skopje hosted the first working meeting with the expert team start by making the "analysis of gaps in environmental data and map the ecological sensitivity of the area of the river basin Bregalnitsa ".

On 06.23.2014 in Stip Macedonian Bulgarian Expo Days was held. The aim of the Business Forum is increasing economic exchanges and intensify cross-border cooperation between companies and institutions from both countries.

At this meeting, Vice President of the Government and Minister of Finance Zoran Stavreski and Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria for Economic Development Ms. Daniela Bobe, took participation.

Centre for Development of East Planning Region on 06.16.2014 signed contracts for the preparing of "Analysis of gaps in environmental data and making a map of the environmental sensitivity of the area of the river basin Bregalnitsa" and "Strategy for development of tourism in the East planning region with action plan (2015 - 2024)".

Development Council of East Planning Region on 13 June 2014 at the Municipality Cesinovo-Obleshevo held its X (tenth) session, the last before the summer hollidays. The next regular meeting will be scheduled in September in Municipality of Karbinci. On the session, these points were discussed:

On the III (third) call for Cross-border cooperation Republic of Bulgaria and Republic of Macedonia, Centre for Development of East Planning Region as a leading partner and the municipality of Gotse Delchev, Breznitsa village as a partner, the Project "Networking of multimedia centres in cross-border region“ was started.

One of the key activities of this infrastructure project is the construction of a Regional Multimedia center in Stip, Macedonia and reconstruction and adaptation of the National Library in Breznitsa village, municipality of Gotse Delchev, Republic of Bulgaria.

The Centre for Development of East Planning Region - Stip, ZG "Kamenica - Sasa", Makedonska Kamenica and municipal center "Georgi Todorov-1885" from Belica, started implementing the project "Preparation of a feasibility study for the development of ski tourism in the mountainous areas of Belica, Bulgaria and Makedonska Kamenica, Macedonia", with ultimate aim of supporting and developing of ski tourism in municipialities Belica in Bulgaria and Makedonska Kamenica, Kocani and Kriva Palanka, Macedonia.

On 28.05.2014, at the Center for Development of East Planning Region, between the Centre for Development of East Planning Region and Company for manufacturing, trade, services and transport engineering KOD-INZENERING DOOEL Strumica, was signed a Contract for purchasing and transporting of PE corrugated pipe for sewage for continuing of the  construction of wastewater collector for city Delchevo on the right side of Bregalnitsa riveri, from Delcevo-serviska zone Dolni bavchi - II phase.

In order to increase understanding and awareness of biodiversit, 22^nd of May has been declared as International Day of Biodiversity by the United Nations, and it is celebrated worldwide to mark the adoption of the Convention on 22 May 1992. This year the theme of the biodiversity day is so-called "Island Biodiversity" which refers to the unique ecosystems that often consist of a number of endemic plant and animal species, which are irreplaceable treasures.
