Fourth meeting of the Project "PPP4BROADBEND"
On the 18th, 19th and 20th February 2014 in Gabrovo, Republic of Bulgaria was conducted the fourth meeting of the Project "PPP4BROADBEND". The meeting was attended by representatives of partner organizations from Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Romania, Austria and Macedonia. Partner in the project, from macedonian side is the Centre for Development of the East Planning Region and Center for Knowledge, an organization from Skopje.
According to the Agreement for the implementation of projects in the East planning region in 2014, the Centre for development of the East Planning Region of February 21, 2014 (Friday) signed a Contract with the Municipality of Vinica for joint implementation of the project "Promotion of wealth differences and save cultural and historical heritage feature of regional development. The agreement was signed by the Head of the Centre for Development of Easte Planning Region, Mrs. Dragica Zdraveva and Mayor of municaplity of Vinica, Mr. Emil Donchev.
Centre for Development of East Planning Region on 19th and 20th of February 2014, in the municipality of Gotse Delchev Republic of Bulgaria held its first meeting for the project "Networking of multimedia centers in the border region."
According to the Decision on granting funds for financing projects for development of planning regions in 2014 (Official Gazette of RM no. 23 from January 31, 2014), on 13 February 2014 at the premises of the Bureau for Regional Development, eight Centres for Development of planning regions have signed agreements for the implementation of projects in 2014. The agreements were signed by the heads of the eight centers for Regional Development and the Ministry of Self-Local Government - represented by the Director Dzemail Elmaz.
The program for the conservation of nature in Macedonia is a project funded by the Government of the Swiss Confederation. As one of the activities for this project is the preparation of the Draft Spatial Plan of the East Planning Region. And East planning Region will be the first region in the country with its Spatial Plan.
On February 12, 2014 in Stip, III (third) meeting of the Steering Committee of the Project Program for nature conservation in Macedonia was held. Also. IV (fourth) meeting of the Steering Committee of the Project Management of river basin Bregalnica was held too. These projects funded through Swiss Confederation, ie the Swiss Agency for development and Cooperation and the Swiss state Secretariat for economic affairs SEKO, 
The important pints on the meeting of the Board of the Project for management of river basin of river Bregalnitsa were:
Ratkova Scala is located ten kilometeres northeast of village Zletovo, deep in southwestern part of montains Osogovo, in the valley of the River Shtalkovichka. Ratkova Scala remotely recognizable by steep cliffs with dark to light gray color. Due to the slow, almost vertically highway on Shtalkovichka River through the quartz, its valley has the appearance of canyon lined with rocky sections scale. Thats why it is the area called Ratkova Scala. Nature is specific, with multiple waterfalls, dense vegetation and diverse rare, with endemic species varied animals and birds.
On January 30, 2014 at MZSPP a meeting with the heads of eight Centers for Regional Development about the campaign "Macedonia-Land of Flowers Country Rose" was held. This campaign, which in 2013 successfully past conduct in the City of Skopje, continues in 2014 nationwide in the name of Day of Spring, March 21st, titled "Macedonia-Land of Flowers, Country of Rose". The goals of this activity is planting seedlings of roses on boulevards and other public green spaces.
According to the conclusion of the 177th session of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia from 24.12.2013, on 22 January 2014, organized by the Association of Local Government of the Republic of Macedonia-ZELS, in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning Macedonian Ministry of Local self-Government of the Republic of Macedonia, held counseling on "Seven years of unsuccessful implementation of regional landfills in the country".
Due to slow progress in the implementation of these provisions, it organize counseling presidents mayors of inter-regional boards for waste management, presidents mayors and directors of the Centers for developing of planning regions in order to summarize the current situation and propose next steps to accelerate the fulfillment of legal obligations, for which will be informed the Government of its next session.
